ZO Skin Health is a medical-grade skincare line developed by Dr. Zein Obagi. It uses advanced formulations and active ingredients to improve skin health at every layer — not just the surface.

Yes – ZO products contain active ingredients that should be prescribed based on your skin type and concerns. A consultation ensures you’re using the right products safely and effectively.

ZO targets a wide range of issues, including:

  • Acne and congestion

  • Pigmentation and sun damage

  • Uneven tone and texture

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Oily or dull skin

Most clients notice improvement within 2–6 weeks, with continued results over time as skin cell renewal improves.

Its normal to experience some mild redness or sensitivity, like a light sunburn. These effects usually settle within a few hours to a couple of days.

ZO products are medical-grade, meaning they contain higher concentrations of active ingredients (like retinol, AHAs, and antioxidants) and work deeper within the skin for lasting change.

Every 2–4 weeks for best results, depending on your skin goals and sensitivity.

That’s a normal “retinol reaction.” It means your skin is renewing itself. Peeling, mild redness, or dryness usually settle after 1–2 weeks.

 

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks.
  • Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment but avoid waxing or plucking.
  • Avoid applying any lotions, deodorants, or perfumes on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
  • Let us know if you’re taking any medication
  • Avoid caffeine if you’re prone to sensitivity.
