Dermal Fillers

Lips having injection

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our body. Once injected into the skin they are designed to add volume to areas of the face, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increasing collagen production and helping to retain moisture lasting 6 to 9 months.

This process will restore the fullness and volume, lost in the aging process.

Lip Augmentation

Dermal filler is carefully injected into specific areas of the lips to enhance fullness, contour and volume to create a more refined and desirable lip shape.

This treatment not only smooths fine lines but also restores the plumpness that may have diminished over time due to aging or natural volume loss.

Non Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty offers a safer, more affordable, and less invasive alternative to traditional surgical rhinoplasty. This advanced procedure uses small droplets of dermal filler to enhance nasal contours, achieving outstanding results by raising the nasal bridge and/or straightening the bone and cartilage to create a perfectly shaped nose.

Tinkerbell Tip Lift

To complete the treatment, the Tinkerbell tip lift adds the perfect finishing touch by creating a subtle uplift and tip projection. This approach is ideal for patients with a slightly droopy nasal tip or those looking for a smaller, more lifted appearance.

Jawline & Chin

Jawline dermal filler is an excellent option for balancing your facial profile. It strengthens and defines the mandibular bone for a sharper, more contoured appearance. In many cases, this treatment creates a clearer separation between the face and neck, adding proportion and reducing the appearance of jowls.

Chin Augmentation

Chin augmentation plays an important role in achieving facial symmetry. By enhancing a receding chin, it provides the illusion of a slimmer profile, minimizes the appearance of a double chin, and reshapes a round chin to a softer, slightly pointed contour. Depending on your individual anatomy, chin augmentation can be combined with or recommended in place of jawline augmentation to achieve balanced facial harmony.

Which ml to go for?

Women: 3-5 ml
Men: 5-6 ml
To respect facial anatomy, 2–4 ml is usually used in one treatment session for a single area.

Dermal Cheek Filler

Our Dermal Cheek Filler treatment is designed to subtly lift the cheekbones, restore volume lost through ageing, and improve facial symmetry. This creates the illusion of a more sculpted bone structure while maintaining a natural, refreshed look.

Tear Troughs

A tear trough is a deep crease or hollow area between your lower eyelid and upper cheek. This advanced aesthetic concern can be effectively addressed using hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. Tiny droplets are precisely placed along the tear trough to restore lost volume, resulting in a plump, hydrated, and smooth under-eye area.

Temple Filler

The temples are located on either side of the forehead, and as we age, we may lose volume in this area, leading to a hollow or sunken appearance. Using hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, we can restore volume and enhance overall facial harmony, giving the face a more youthful and balanced look.

What are the benefits of dermal fillers

Adding volume and fullness

During the ageing process, we lose volume from various fat pads in the face. Dermal Fillers can restore these fat pads producing a more youthful, healthy result. Adding volume can also benefit people looking to balance the profile of the face or to enhance and add definition to your lips, cheek bones and Jawline.

Increasing collagen production and retaining moisture

Hyaluronic acid is produced in our bodies to act as a lubricant and cushion for tissue. This means this it holds moisture well and is proven to increase collagen production in the areas injected.

Instant results that are fully reversible
Results can be seen directly after your treatment, the longevity varies on each individual. Dermal filler is fully reversible using an injectable serum named Hyaluronidase.

Dermal fillers injections may cause slight discomfort, but a topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to enhance comfort. Most patients find the treatment more comfortable than expected, with many reporting only minimal sensation during the injections.
Yes, when administered by a qualified and experienced practitioner, dermal fillers are considered safe. The most commonly used fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body, which makes them biocompatible and well-tolerated. As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects—such as swelling, bruising, or tenderness—but these are typically mild and temporary. During your consultation, we will assess your medical history and ensure the treatment is appropriate and safe for you.
The longevity of dermal filler results varies depending on the treatment area, individual metabolism, and the amount of product used.

In general, most dermal fillers typically last between 6 to 12 months. However, certain areas- such as the tear troughs and non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments tend to be longer-lasting, with results typically lasting 12 to 18 months.

With regular maintenance and gradual build-up over time, results can last even longer. Consistent top ups not only preserve volume but also support the skin’s hydration and structure, contributing to a more sustained and youthful appearance.

Yes, if necessary, filler can be dissolved using an enzyme that breaks down the filler. This enables us to address complications or make adjustments if the treatment isn’t meeting your expectations.
Dermal filler results are visible immediately after treatment, with the full effect becoming more apparent once any initial swelling or bruising subsides-typically up to two weeks. The final results may continue to improve over the following month as the filler settles and water retention enhances hydration in the treated area.
Injectable procedures are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as a precautionary measure to prioritize the safety of both the mother and the baby.
To prepare for your treatment, avoid taking blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) a few days before, refrain from alcohol and strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours prior, take Arnica tablets up to 5 days before to reduce bruising, arrive with a clean face free from makeup, lotions, or oils, and inform your practitioner if you have any cold sores, especially if you’re having treatment around the lip area.
Suitability for treatment will be assessed during your consultation. Our practitioner will evaluate your medical history, skin condition, and specific concerns to determine the most appropriate treatment for you. We ensure that all treatments are tailored to your individual needs and safety.
Yes, dermal fillers are an effective treatment for deep lines, wrinkles and volume loss. They work by adding volume beneath the skin, helping to smooth out wrinkles and create a more youthful, plump appearance. However, if a line or wrinkle is very deep, dermal filler may not be the most effective solution.

Common side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort at the injection site. Other potential complications, though uncommon, can include:

  • Asymmetry: In some cases, the results may not be perfectly symmetrical, as the face itself is naturally asymmetrical. Dermal fillers can help enhance balance and symmetry, but it’s important to note that achieving perfect symmetry is not always possible. If needed, adjustments can be made to further refine the results.
  • Infection: Although rare, there is risk of an infection. To minimise this risk, we follow strict hygiene practices, use sterile equipment, and ensure that the treatment area is properly cleaned before the procedure.

After the procedure, we recommend avoiding touching the treated area, as well as strenuous activities or exposure to dirty environments.

  • Nodules or lumps: Small, firm bumps may form under the skin.
  • Allergic reactions: redness, itching, or swelling due to an allergic reaction.
  • Vascular occlusion: A more serious, though rare complication is when dermal filler accidentally blocks a blood vessel, and if left untreated, this can cause skin tissue necrosis. Immediate medical attention is required if this occurs, so please contact the clinic immediately.
  • Granulomas: Small, localised inflammatory nodules that can develop as a reaction. This is a rare complication that occurs when the body’s immune system responds to the injected material.
  • Nerve damage: In rare cases, nerve injury may result in temporary symptoms such as numbness, tingling, or weakness in the treated area.

Our experienced practitioners will thoroughly assess your medical history and discuss any potential risks during your consultation to ensure you are fully informed and comfortable with the procedure.
